The Knight House is oldest structure in Hopkinsville and Christian County, Kentucky. Built between 1815 and 1820, the house has seen its fair share of history in over 200 years of existence. J.B. Knight purchased the residence in 1860 and his family resided there until the 1940's when it was sold to the Rogers family.
The Knights were a prominent family of lawyers and real estate investors. Owning hundreds of acres in Hopkinsville and thousands of acres across the country.
The house has had many additions over the years and has grown to over 5,000 square feet and now sits on just 3 of the original 300-acre tract.
The Knight House is privately owned but is open to the public for select dates and times.
